On Mondays we will meet midday 7/6, 7/13, and 7/27

My intention is to make yoga truly inclusive. Not just accessible to those that want to stand on their head, but also those that are limited in their movement.

All we need for yoga is the breath. This chair yoga series will teach us gentle stretching, and mindful meditation techniques including breath, repetition and concentration.

My grandpa has had a series of surgeries in the last decade after a motorcycle crushed his ankle. His most recent one has glued him to his seat.

I grew up on the back of his bike, the speed through nature and hum of the motor is one of the most liberating feelings. He is typically in constant motion. Back in the day you’d catch him throwing the grandkids in the ocean or tying up a swing in the tree, making a fire to cook over or wood working in the work shop.

We all could benefit from a little more mindfulness and conscious stillness with the practice of yoga. We will not be weight bearing, but instead deepening into the support of the chair and our practice.
